The Kozo Lightning 2.5" is a four-piece metal grinder with a clear window set into the lid, so you can watch the herb as you twist. The body is black, and a lightning bolt pattern shows through the window in the accent color you choose. Below the lid you get a grinding chamber, a storage chamber and a kief catcher fed by a stainless steel mesh screen. A durable metal alloy build, diamond-shaped teeth and a strong magnet that keeps the lid closed in a bag round it out. At 2.5 inches wide it holds enough for a session or two. Eight options are offered: Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Red, Blue, Green, Pink and Multicolor.
Compared with the plain 2.5 inch grinders in our 4-part grinders, the window adds a little care: wipe it with a soft cloth lightly wet with isopropyl alcohol instead of soaking the lid, and never use rough scrubbers on it. Deep clean the metal pieces in alcohol for 20 to 30 minutes, rinse with hot water and dry fully. A brush from our cleaning tools clears the teeth and screen after each session.
A good match for people who care about grind consistency and want a grinder that looks different from the usual round lid.
